Information/Instructional Design

What is Information/Instructional Design?

Information design is the process of preparing and gathering information, in accordance with design principles, in order for designers to properly understand the true meaning of their findings. This data then can be easily communicated to others with efficiency and effectiveness.
But, information design is often aided by instructional design. This is the process of outlining steps or creating instructional tools to achieve a certain content. This is usually achieved by defining the end goal and creating steps to help the user in accomplishing the desired outcome.
